Will team India win world cup cricket 2019?

Yes. India can win the World Cup 2019. I can never rule out that possibility.

Because I feel they have got almost everything that's needed to win a World Cup. If we assume that India sends the current playing team in 2019 WC, then also I feel there's a good chance of winning it.

Because this team has tasted success with time (a fantastic domestic season) and have played good cricket in 2017. They have the confidence of winning games and winning them by big margins.

Also, this team has a good mixture of youth and experience, and by the time they play the 2019 WC, they will also have a fair amount of experience playing in overseas conditions like English pitches (India is touring England in July 2018 and the next World cup is going to happen in England).

Also, with Virat doing the captaincy and MS acting more like a mentor and finisher, we can expect good performance from the entire team in the tournament.

Will all of this really happen? Will this team wins the World Cup 2019? Will this possibility become a reality?

Now that's really tough to say. Because the World Cup is still a long way to go.

There's still more than a complete year left for the tournament to start and in between these 12–15 months, team India can undergo serious changes.

Some things are still relatively new and unclear. Winning the title is not an easy task and it will depend on a lot of factors. It will depend on many things that happen with the team in 2018, like -

• The performance of the new spin twins - Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav in Overseas. (South Africa and England)

• The performance of Virat Kohli's Captaincy in overseas conditions.
• The performance of the middle order (it's true that India has a weak middle order) on overseas pitches.
• The performance of new bowlers like Bumrah, Unadkat, Siraj, Shami and even Thampi on foreign soils.

And so on…

So I think there's still a lot that needs to be checked and tested. And it needs to be a serious check.

Maybe the team might weaken and get demoralized if it fails in overseas tours. Maybe some players lose out on their form and are replaced by new faces. Maybe we lose out good players due to injuries and other problems.

We never know what will happen to the stability of this team in 2018. Will it increase, decrease or remain the same? There's still no clear answer.

So I think it's tough to come to a conclusion as of now. I've said this many times and would like to say it one more time - there's still a long way to go and we have to wait at least till the mid of 2018 to get a much better picture of this entire thing.

But yes, if the same team that is playing today also plays in the 2019 World Cup, then I'd say that we've got a good chance -in fact, a very good chance of winning the 2019 World Cup.

Because I believe in the credibility of this team and I think it can give a serious fight to most nations that will be playing the 2019 World Cup. This team has the true potential to win big tournaments and possibly, bring the World Cup home!
